See how CiHA can be used to produce your TEPs for WHQS2023

CiHA can produce target energy pathways (TEP) in compliance with WHQS 2023 and improvement option evaluations (IOE) in compliance with PAS 2035.
It can help customers monitor their:
• SAP rating increases as each measure is applied
• Benchmark and track Stock’s carbon footprint
• Benchmark and monitor Stock’s CO2 reductions
• Identify the most effective energy-saving measures to be installed
per property
How does it work?
CiHA uses the rdSAP information stored in your Lifespan Housing account to enable you to produce a bespoke target energy pathway for individual or batches of properties.
What is the benefits of this over just using the recommendations created from a rdSAP assessment?
CiHA allows customers to:
• Model improvements beyond the default parameters of rdSAP,
including specifying their own u-values or performance standards.
• Specify the trigger point when measures would be recommended
beyond the default parameters of rdSAP
• Apply their own costs and lifecycles to any measures proposed for
a more accurate payback calculation.
• Choose which measures they wish to apply e.g. removing those
which may not be practically possible to complete.
How does the data from CiHA link to the customer's data in Lifespan?
Once the customer has completed their TEP or IOE, they can import each property's proposed energy efficiency measures into the planned maintenance section of their Lifespan Housing Account.
The benefits of this are as follows:
• All future works are stored in one place
• Energy Efficiency measures and routine component replacement can
be coordinated together to create efficiencies e.g. sharing scaffold
costs and avoid rework e.g. replacing windows after external wall
insulation is installed.
What if I do not have properties with full rdSAP data in the Lifespan Housing Account?
Property Tectonics can help in several ways including:
• Undertaking stock condition surveys to obtain up-to-date rdSAP data.
• Work with Elmhurst and Stroma via an API link to retrieve
any previously lodged EPC data into your account.
How do I find out more?
Lifespan Housing customers have the option to purchase Carbon in Homes Assessment (CiHA) to complement their existing Lifespan Housing account. To find out more please complete the form below;
