Property Tectonics was appointed in July 2019 following a comprehensive tender process, and then again in October 2020 to complete internal and external stock condition surveys across a selection of the council’s residential portfolio and related assets.

We used our Lifespan Mobile data collection software which is fully integrated with Lifespan Housing, allowing data to be easily imported and exported with robust data validation facilities. Surveys were recorded on tablets and backed up daily. Validation of the survey data was vital to the success of the project so data was downloaded daily and reviewed on a weekly basis by our lead consultant with any surveyor training issues identified. All the survey data was rigorously checked for any errors, omissions inconsistencies and accuracies across each of the survey modules. The final data validation was carried out at the end of the project and was carried out over a 1-2-week period. Quality control took place at all stages of the process to ensure that we delivered an excellent standard of service to Brent.
