Background:

Property Tectonics were appointed by The Adeyfield Academy as the lead consultant on the project, providing full design services in respect of the expansion of The Adeyfield Academy to accommodate an additional form entry by the start of the 2023/24 academic year.

Following a capacity assessment, it was determined that an additional class block was required to provide eight classrooms, together with associated facilities and amenities.

Project Summary:

• Provision of a new 8 classroom teaching block.
• The new build start date was 09/05/22 and it was completed on 10/07/23.
• The project value for the new build was £2.1m.
• The contractors were AR Watson Building Contractors Ltd.
